A Little About Me.

Joey Morgan

I'm a Senior Product Designer at Toshiba with 8+ years of experience. I started in graphic design, which gave me a strong visual eye, but over time I've moved further into product strategy and business-focused thinking. I care more about whether a design solves the right problem than whether every pixel is perfect.

My background in UX keeps me grounded in research and real user needs, but I tend to approach design from a product and business perspective first. What's the outcome we're driving? What does success look like for the customer and the company? That's where I start.

Lately, I've been spending a lot of time with AI-assisted design. Tools like Figma Make AI and Cursor have changed how I ideate, how fast I can move through concepts, and what a small team can realistically ship. I'm really interested in where emerging technology and thoughtful design overlap.
